This Article just helped me reaffirm my belief that video games can become addicting if you play to much, for to long of a time. My blog has migrated from the video game violence to addiction, because from addiction violence occurs, and you cant have one without the other. What I found helpful in this article was the fact that the author incorporated real life talks and conversations from patients and patients parents ( the doctor ran Adolescent Clinical Educational Services (A.C.E.S) for the Center for Addiction and Mental Health.) This deepens the my knowledge in the way that people are finally seeing this as a problem and that it needs to be adressed. This brings me to the question of how are violence and addiction related? I hope to answer that question. There isn't anyone new that I need to be looking out for.

post 9 Deeper issues involved in video game addictions
- Video games can be great for your hand-eye coordination.
- video games can start to be a problem if your kid starts having mood swings, their grades drop, start being secluded.
"Ballon said a kid could be playing a lot of video games but that doesn't mean it's a problem. He said if their grades start to decline or other strange things start to happen, it could be a problem."When is it a problem?" he said. "If the guy is getting A-pluses, maybe it's not a problem. When their functionality starts to go, maybe it's a problem."
- the problem is not always video game, its social anxiety.
- many parents blame video games because its easy to.
