My Field observation reflection!

For my field observation I went to a store called Cyberland and I monitored gamers movements and physical appearances. these were the questions I tried to answer:
movements while playing......none........few.........many
Playing with a friend.....yes.........no
talks to ones self............yes.........no
gender.........male......female
clothes he/she is wearing.....sweats......jeans.....other
eating while playing.....yes.....no
takes rests while playing.......yes.....no
is overweight........yes......no
is underweight.......yes.....no
is clean...........yes.......no
is social.......yes.......no
is wearing a hood/cap......yes......no
nervous/jittery.........yes.....no
is focused.....yes....no
During my observations I found a lot of "common threads". Every single person in Cyberland was wearing jeans, baggy clothes, dark clothes, and were not very clean. A large number of them ate junk food and drank energy drinks while they played and were very jittery with their movements. From my observations I have come to the conclusion that the main reason why kids like video games and play them so much is because they are interactive and they are fun. When I was in Cyberland everyone was having a great time. There were many people talking sharing ideas, strategies, and hints. But they did not know when it went too far. There were some people in there that had been at Cyberland since it opened, and they had just sat there for hours on end playing. Once they started to really play there was no way of getting their attention, they were glued to their screens.
